Memory, A Sixth Sense

Astoria, Queens

A community center imagined around gathering, making, and remembering, wrapped in warm timber, plaster, and daylight.

Organised around a planted, double-height atrium, the design threads a workshop, an exhibition hall, and a memory library of open oak cubbies. Materials stay soft and tactile, so that every room invites use rather than reverence.
